Hi Guys, I am James (42) from Sutton (surrey) as a previous Jaguar owner (XF 2.7D) I have taken the plunge and upgraded to an F Type 340 3.0l It has quite a bit of optional extras which includes the full rs Sports kit.<div><br></div><div>Looking forward to interacting with you guys and more importantly enjoying the ride.</div><div><br></div><div>My F T is a year old (15 plate) and has done just 6k so looks and drives like practically new.</div><div><br></div><div>So far so good. </div>

You will get lots of good comments about the look of the car. It's more knight Rider than Jag <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" />

Aww thanks I've always thought I looked like Michael Knight <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I think the previous owner stuck it on for styling I'm pretty sure it's the 340 as Jag confirmed its just an F type saying that I still love it

Welcome James.<br>Interesting arm tats......very gangster! A bit like the car <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley16.gif" border="0" alt="Cool" title="Cool" /><br><br>Shiny indeed! I don't remember seeing a BRG coupe recently....Must be quite rare(??)<br>

Thanks <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I would have to agree about the BRG, I see the common red ones all the time (not dissing the colour just fact) even the main dealer commented on how rare the colour was, but in the sunshine I really like it as it's got a cool shimmer to the paintwork. As for my tattoos they are hardly gangster <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> just a bit of bio mechanics, I'm getting a Star Wars sleeve started on Wednesday <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

liking the fixed rear spoiler although the carbon jobby on the svr is even more tasty.<br /><br />not sure red is that common if you look at the approved used site. 63 coupes on the approved used site and the numbers of white, black, red and silver about the same. <br /><br />but green is rare as only 1 there pre owned.

Thanks, I mentioned red being more common as that's all I've seen round by me is the bright red one and the darker one. I wonder why BRG is a little rare particularly considering its heritage against the other colours or perhaps it just doesn't look as nice on the f type. When the sun hits it, it really comes to life. I think then it looks a bit special.
