Hi from new owner

Evening everyone, just picked up my F Type this morning. What an animal. I've come from a 911, 997 C2S. That was a great car, but only a test drive and couple of hours into ownership I have a big grin.

Stopped of after an hours drive. Parked up and first person I saw said to me I hope that's as nice as it looks. Then 5 minutes later people with phones out taking pictures. 2 Porsches over 5 years and I don't recall that attention.

Hoping to have a good read through the forum and then a proper play with the buttons in the car tomorrow.

But welcome and like you there are a few of us that have come from 997s - and it's amazing the transformation from road going leper to getting let out etc. Some lads pulled up alongside me today in an A1 and asked me to rev it - duly dropped it down a couple of gears and the lift off crackles got big thumbs up. I'd have got middle finger up in the 911 so it's a nice change!
