Hi all,
Thought I need to better get signed up to the forum after lurking in the shadows for the past couple months looking over issues with the FType, whilst waiting for a car I liked to became available. Then on the 31st May, I finally collected my new toy, this is my new daily (2019 P380 Chequered Flag) and I can advise it does not look as clean now as it did on the collection day. Especially as 75miles and 1 day later, its already had a few specs of paint removed from the lowest middle bit of the bumper, due to a terrible little lane that has grass growing up the middle (reported to council)! So its had to have a touch up paint job and I've DIY'd a PPF to that piece only for future protection.

Now I just need to get the Euro roadtrip finalised for September and a dash cam fitted.

Thanks, yes I've noticed the majority have the full black pack and I did just miss out on one with it too.
Whilst it looks different and good with body coloured sills, they do seem to get mucky quick and I'm starting to wonder if the black would or wouldn't be worse.
Next up a pressure washer purchase.

My sills stay cleaner now I wax them (plus the other plastic panels), Turtle Wax Hybrid Hydrophobic Sealant is cheap and effective.

Caldera red lovely colour I looked and looked for several months for a new ish Caldera red P450 had to “ settle” for Firenze red it’s a hard life

Wow! That's an amazing looking car! How's the paintwork finish holding on a year later? I finally managed to detail mine 2 weeks ago, 6 months after buying the car. I can now finally enjoy it being like I wanted it to look like from day one

WShudds thanks for asking, here's a year later after a simple wash (foam, jet rinse, drying), it is holding pretty well.

Looks great and it's obviously being well care for!

I'm totally on board with The Reds gallery idea. It's a beautiful colour on the F-type and it photographs so well!
