After a long-time searching I'm finally heading to pick up my new baby tomorrow!

Replacing the BMW Z4 with a V6S Coupé and I'm ridiculously excited. Does the noise still make all of you guys smile every time you start it?

Congratulations!

Yes, after 18 months this car still makes me grin. The sound is still addictive.

You should find that everyone seems to like it. From getting let out in traffic to people just stopping to mention how nice it looks. Have fun!

I traumatised over dumping my 981 Boxster S for the F Type S, on performance and aural grounds. I don't know why because the F Type delivers on both fronts !!

..... and I've never had so many strangers complimenting my car.

Just taken mine for it's first MOT this morning, but even that hasn't been a boring or uneventful task in the F-Type.
The guy who was testing it was getting into the whole event. It was the first one he has tested so far.

Hello welcome .... enyou your day .. just 13 days for mine to be delivered now

Yes, never tire of the start up, never tire of the pops and crackles, never tire of an F-type ... Enjoy your day, and ownership ...

Yup the startup noise is a blast (literally) every day! Always makes me grin - you definitely do drive this car grinning like an idiot at the noise it makes.

Well, I picked her up and all I can say is... wow. I've driven 500 miles already and I don't think there's been a single mile that I wasn't smiling ear to ear :D

Pictures, as promised...

Had 'AWD disabled' warning lights 3 times in the first week, garage then had it for 2 weeks without fixing it, so I thought sod that..... Actually collect the new one tomorrow. The process was a bit of a pain but in the end I'll have a new build MY18 car for the price I paid for a built MY17 car - same spec on both but I gain the changes in the MY18 and all at 0% Jaguar finance. Plus of course I get that showroom thrill twice!

I was a bit wary about chopping in both my 911 and Lotus Elise for an F Type but one car is easier to manage than two and it’s given me more pleasure than both of them!
