Hi Guys, <div><br></div><div>So as per my previous post I have managed to Jaguar in Dubai to replace my roof, however when I went to pick up the car (after them having it for a week) I tested the roof by putting it down and there was so much slack in that it was folding on it self. You can see what I mean by the photos below. Obviously this needs to be fixed but does anyone have any ideas on how they have messed up. With the roof up it looks fine and the fabric is taught, but as it goes down you can see there is a lot of slack. I just don't know how they will fix it?</div><div><br></div><div>How it should be when the roof is down:</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/818/IMG_5021_2016-10-23_07-10-38.JPG" height="700" width="525" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>This is how my roof is sitting when its down:</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/818/IMG_5019.JPG" height="700" width="525" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/818/IMG_5020_2016-10-23_07-12-23.JPG" height="700" width="525" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

At a guess it's probably a case of the fabric not being secured well enough to the frame; if it's fine when the roof is up and slackens when down I'd guess it's not been bonded fully to the frame. On the top picture it looks stuck down right to the edge and on your roof it looks stuck down 75% to the edge - so becomes slack when there is not tension in it. Your photos speak for themselves.
