Hi Guy, <div><br></div><div>First off, welcome to the FTOC!</div><div><br></div><div>Your first port of call needs to be with the admin of this site via email at the bottom of the page. They should be able to help with the 'business' side of sponsorship etc.</div><div><br></div><div>Secondly, yes, personally heard of Opie, but have never been tempted to buy any products as of yet as we seem to be tied in with Castrol and their specific grade of oils for our particular engines to STJLR.03.5007 spec. </div><div>If you have any equivalents or stock this Castrol type, then I for one would be certainly interested in seeing the data sheet/price for it.<font face="Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 9px;"> </span></font></div><div><font face="Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 9px;"><br></span></font></div><div><font face="Helvetica" size="2">I'm sure other members would be equally interested in F-Type specific consumables, Plugs, oil and air filters etc</font></div><div><font face="Helvetica"><span style="font-size: 9px;"><br></span></font></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
Hi<div><br></div><div>At the moment, we don't have a suitable alternative that meets the correct spec for your car, but as time moves on, I'm sure oil companies will produce alternatives to the Castrol stuff. In some earlier Jags, dealers were using Castrol oils, but we have alternatives, so you can save some money or have more of a choice. It takes a bit of time for those to become available as most people will use a dealership for everything for the first 3 years, so it doesn't make economic sense to make an alternative to the dealership oil.</div><div><br></div><div>The same applies to all consumables really, but hopefully we will have plenty of products for you in the future.</div><div><br></div><div>Cheers</div><div><br>Tim</div>
