Hi,<div> </div><div>Being from Norway it's difficult to give good advice on the market in UK, but I did do some of those considerations myself a couple of years back.</div><div> </div><div>I used to have a TTS MkII, but sold it a couple of years before I started looking for an F-type Coupe. My thoughts then was going for a new F-type S, or find a second hand F-type R.</div><div> </div><div>Second hand market in Norway was and is pretty slim, so I had a look at the German market (a good friend with great knowledge about cars and car imports to Norway lives there so he could assist me). There were (and are) many F-types on the second hand market there, and it was easy to find one with the color and options that I was looking for. </div><div> </div><div>I ended up with a 12 months old R with less than 5.000 miles on the road, more or less all options and in great condition (could not see that it was used after a good detailing, and even the rear tires looked good as new). The total cost (including import taxes) was just below what a new F-type S would have cost me, and I have not had any regrets of that decision.</div><div> </div><div>My plan was also to keep the car for many years, and after just over 1.5 years of ownership, that plan has only been strenghten. This is a keeper for me <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /> </div><div> </div><div>What you might also consider is the facelift version that comes now as the 2018 model, but I am very happy that I have the original first F-type Coupe R rwd, and will take very good care of it in the years to come.</div><div> </div><div>It is also a very different car to drive than the TTS. The TTS was a very good car to drive. The F-type R is a very very fun car to drive <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" /> (and I am sure the F-type S is as well, you just don't need to be that carefull with your right foot <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /> )</div>
