Garage dimensions

Hi Ricardo, I manage to squeeze out the door, it's not possible to open the door wide but it's enough for me, I suppose it will depend on your build, I am only 5,3 and skinny. Lol.

I've hit on a solution...the car needs to go into the garage...but I dont!

I'm going to install a winch into the back of my garage and set up 2 sets of runners to guide the wheels. So I just have to line it up, get out and press the remote to slowly pull the car in. Seems there are several YouTube videos on this solution.

Now i just need to find a location on the Jag where I can attach the winch hook to...?

Also figure out a way of pulling it out of the garage (there is a door entry at the back so maybe push it from there?)

Hello all.
I recently decided to allow for the F-Type to avoid bad weather, so changed two up and over doors into a sectional single door. My previous F-Pace sat outside :-(Garage is 5.5m wide 5m deep).

Apart from being warmer inside with insulated door it's great. Further work needed but I'm happy. I'm now looking at repainting the floor which after 18 years needs doing. Any advise on preparation or materials would be appreciated.

As a new Ftype owner (2weeks) today I received my first wave from another owner. Is this normal. I hope so. Made me smile..
Take care you lot.

Yep! Not everyone does it, but a lot will so don't take any non waver personally. Welcome to the club!

I often wave at XKR drivers, since I got used to that when I had one .... hope it doesn't confuse them too much, it's still a great Jag, after all!

Screwfix garage floor paint is decent. Garage Floor tiles from duramat.co.uk which are hard wearing.

Hi All. Mine is 5.9m wide (with 5m wide opening) and 6.4m deep. This allows an old man, with a finely honed 'one pack', to comfortably get in & out of the F-Type with the wife's Astra parked alongside.
As for flooring, we started with an expensive screed painted with Leyland Trade 'Heavy duty Floor Paint', but found it peeled off and looked a mess. We went on a JEC visit to David Appleby Engineering and loved their floor tiling. I had the same fitted to my garage from Ecotile Flooring in Luton. They did a great job.
