This may seem like a stupid question, but hear me out. (2016 R)
Having problems with intermittent fuel level inaccuracies. So the likely cause is the fuel level sender right?
Looking through the official repair manual, it suggests there are two fuel level sensors. BUT all the parts diagrams online show only one, and looking at pics of the fuel tank, if there was a second sensor I have zero idea how you would even access it.
Can anybody confirm if there is one or two before I get too deep into this job?
I do know that between 09-10 there was a design change on the XF that went from a second fuel level sensor to just one, so I wonder if this was an early design change that was never updated in the repair manual.
