Remote start it via the app - then it's nice and toasty warm when you get in it. Or Gummi Pflege on the seals? The worst thing I found was that the mirrors freeze folded in - on my previous XKR I could disable the auto fold function when the weather got cold to avoid that situation, no such luck on the F-Type, it's a dealer setting.

New car? Well, it was only a year old when I bought it back in 2018 (with 1300 miles on it!).

Confirmed with Jaguar on Twitter DM - it's a no for my MY15 V6S, so it's de-icer and a manual start of the car for me . I'm sure I'll survive, just about hehe.

That's strange. My 2015 MY16 with old infotainment system, Jag InControl app and "InControl Remote" subscription has it. It might be worth giving Mo at LR Retrofits a shout. He's a wizard at activating things your car "shouldn't" have .

I saw him last week and suggested he offer to double the timer on the rear screen heater too - I sometimes end up using it 3 or 4 times before the screen is properly warm and clear. Only a small thing but it really annoys me
