Front suspension options ....

Folks, whilst recently replacing the brakes I noticed that both the front shocks and springs are in a poor rusted state.
Whilst being somewhat surprised that Jaguar didn't mention their conditions to me when the car was in for some work earlier in 2025 I will need to replace them, either before the MOT in december or next year.

Anybody else replaced them and if so what with? The OE ride and front end handling is excellent so am sure I will be happy with oe replacements or are there alternatives e.g. WP/Ohlins etc

I won't be doing the work, car is a 2013 V8S cabrio.

Thanks

I haven't had to replace mine as they're still in good condition. In case you need it and for reference etc, the JLR part numbers and prices for the items you require are shown here....

^^ super thanks @RPSN for the info.
check the lowest coil on the spring in particular, mine has corroded quite badly but is very hard to spot when the wheel and tyre are in situ which I suspect is the reason why it passed its MOT and Jaguar check earlier this year.

👍
There was some surface rust in that area on mine but I removed, treated and painted it with smooth black hammerite a few years ago. I recently checked it whilst the front wheels were off (when I replaced the front brake pads) and all is ok.
