Front badge (in grille)

Hey there!

Has anyone ever replaced their Grille badge before for a new one? And is it an easy thing or something i'd need to take to a mechanic, or difficult and not worth the effort?

I was thinking of putting on the red badge as well as new red wheel centre caps (i know this part is straightforward as they click in and out) to give it a bit of freshness as mine are the black variety and slightly worn.

thanks!

Hello,

I’ve done this but went from red to black! Don’t order cheap wheel centres off eBay. They’re a poor fit. Mine went straight in bin & then ordered correct set OEM from Jaguar.

I do have a OEM red set if you want them?

Thanks Darren have messaged you - and yes i've seen lots of cheap 'Jaguar' badges etc on there and surmised as much despite the promising pictures!

Front badge is fixed with 2 torx from the rear. To change you need to remove the bumper. It may be possible to undo top and wing mounts and flex it forward for access

Note that there are different honeycomb sizes so get the right badge. I know as I have an SVR front and my S badge doesn’t fit

I think he's on about the jaguar badge in the middle of the grill

The S badge can be done, on a non-SVR at least, with a little careful wrist dislocation!

For the centre badge I'm guessing the illuminating growler badge off the iPace will be too big to be an option.

For genuine wheel centre caps I use Steve Gray at SB Wheels - very helpful chap, highly recommended.

Oh, and remember to align them correctly - the growler's chin should point to the valve. ;)
