Hi,<br><br>Looks as though an All Wheel Drive F-Type will become available next year judging by the info in the link below:-<br><br>http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/jaguar/f-type/89011/four-wheel-drive-jaguar-f-type-scooped<br><br><br>

<div>Scoobydooby,</div><div></div>Nice badge!<div> </div><div>An R convertible 4WD - Wonder if there any mods to the torsional rigidity or does the new drivetrain soak up a bit of 'twist' from the additional power I wonder?</div><div> </div><div>My experience of having 4WD is positive for less skilled drivers like myself, i.e it's easier to get round corners quickly, but a lot less fun! <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /></div><div> </div><div>What next...an F-Type SUV?! </div>

Hi Tel,<br /><br />The R convertible caught my eye too. I guess the extra traction on a 4WD set-up means they can up the power quite a bit. <br /><br />As for the next development, my money would be on a four pot 2litre turbo engined version (from the newly developed ingenium stable) with a manual gearbox. They would sell quite a lot with an economical 2litre engine but let's hope not so many as to make the F-type a less than rare sight!<br /><br />The SUV will be much later............<br /><br />Regards.<br /><br />Scoobydoo<edited><editID>scoobydoo</editID><editDate>2014-10-16 11:36:21</editDate></edited>

Yup, small engine is already there from what I read. Wouldn't it be a treat with the C-X75 lump in it!? Trash the PP3's of course! That said, the noise, just wouldn't be right IMO for a true 'sports car'!<div><br></div><div>What d'ya reckon to these little beauts then?</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/332/12338417433_c6dc1d191c_o-640x384.jpg" height="384" width="640" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Or something that I think would be just fab....</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/332/F-Type-Targa-640x344.jpg" height="344" width="640" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Mmmmm! Oh, surprise, surprise, they are Red...becoming a bit common now <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" alt="Ouch" title="Ouch" /></div>

Targa is very nice - best of both worlds with a decent sized boot. Not so sure about the shooting brake though! <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <br /><br />

<div> </div><div>Agreed - The Targa is rather fetching, and as you quite rightly mention about boot increased boot space, you might be able to squeeze another iron or two in there....just!</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>(That's iron as in Morphy Richards not the swingy things!<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" height="17" width="17" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />)</div>
