fitting a replacement headlight

The inevitable DRL failure has affected my headlight, just as I am thinking of selling my F Type. If I sourced a replacement used headlight, how difficult would it be to replace the actual headlight? Would it need to be coded in, and would it need anything extra like a ballast?

It's plug and play. There's a youtube video showing how to do it.

The bottom photo is the early one, the middle being the later version, it will be one of those two. The top is the final facelift MY20 onward.
