Firesand with red calipers

I have a Firesand Orange with red calipers but have been thinking of changing them, maybe to yellow. I just feel red clashes with the yellow. My growler on the front grill is a black one, not red. I would probably change the wheel centres to black too.

Mine is the first pic, but thinking yellow looks better?

(No, I didn't put 2 pictures of my car up. This is the third draft of this message and each time it duplicated that pic!)

Hi John,

It’s a beautiful car you have there,

It’s just down to personal taste, but if you’re going to do anything I’d get the callipers painted Firesand too, I bet Your dealer would be able to price it up in the paint shop,

Also yes Black wheel centres would finish it off nicely,

Kind regards,

Steve

I think the yellow clashes with Firesand as much as the red. Second vote for Firesand callipers. Or black. But it's your car, so your choice, of course.

Difficult one as I see your point on the red, but yellow clashes more
Black or silver do nothing, so I end with another vote for firesand
Spectacular looking car :)

My tuppence worth...

Go for firesand calipers and black centre caps on wheels.
Or maybe black calipers but with firesand decals to make them "pop" more.
Definitely don't go for a clashing colour like red or yellow.

I think the biggest difference between your pictures and the other car is the black trim parts. If I were to change anything, i'd go for them first.

I think blue would complement the firesand and better than any other colour but it’s your car so whatever you’re happy with will work! Orange is a mix of primary red and yellow, hence why they clash, with blue being the complimentary colour.

I hadn't noticed that the red calipers clashed with the Firesand until you pointed it out. I'd go with Firesand or black calipers.

It’s just down to personal taste we’re all different, I prefer the colour of the callipers to match the colour of the car, mine is IRR and I prefer matching red callipers and here she is...

Firesand is a unique, stand out, colour. Introducing other colours will clash.

Black is the way to go 👍

Timbo has black calipers on his FS & they look great.

Red brakes against firesand clash. I went for black when I ordered mine. Bit obvious and didn't even think of having them match the car, which is a good shout. Black is probably the safe bet - £150 extra, a bit cheeky when buying new! A couple of (not very good) photos attached if they are any help.

I also selected black calipers, but no black pack, which is what I wanted.

Many thanks for all your suggestions.

I've decided black with orange lettering (only because I don't think any Firesand Orange paint would be heat resistant). Plus I'm going to change the wheel centres to black.

Cheers everyone!
