Firesand, V6 S Coupe

<blockquote>
timbo - how come your side skirts and front splitter are also black? Is that the carbon pack? They are orange on mine, and I have the Sports/Black pack.</blockquote><br><br>My car is a 2015 my so the design pack wasn't even around when i ordered it hence why the side skirts and front splitter are black but the front splitter on mine is the cf splitter from Jaguar. I found it on ebay a while ago and payed a lot less than Jag wanted<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><br>

Looks very nice Timbo. Except for the rims and cf-parts (I have cf mirrors and external vents), it's rather close to my 15 R IRR. I think both these colors go very well with the black pack, and I am pleased with the "smaller" black side skirts:<div></div><div> <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/548/901.jpg" height="467" width="700" border="0" /></div><div> </div><div><img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/548/907.jpg" height="467" width="700" border="0" /></div>

Not long to wait now Firesand ... its a great colour and I suspect one that will need to be kept clean whereas the red is likely to 'wear' roadgrime easier ...<div> </div><div>I appreciate its all personal opinion regarding wheel options, but it would appear owners here want either black or silver with little evidence of alternative ideas. Depending on wheel style there are several finishes to choose from. As most F-Types are 'personalised' I'm surprised how many have an eye to the future and resale ... buy and style for yourself ... the next owner will buy on condition and history (assuming you've not sprayed it pink or yellow) </div><div> </div><div>Ref the smaller side extensions, do Jaguar still offer these? black against the lighter colours protect the profile/lines of the F-Type that for me get a little spoiled by the larger colour matched sills ...</div><div> </div><div>Enjoy everyone ... </div>

I am not shure but I don't think Jaguar offers the smaller side extensions any more.<br /><br />However I do think they are available at SNG Barratt.<br /><br />Here is the result for a search for the left side extension:<br /><br />http://www.sngbarratt.com/PartSearchResults.aspx?partno=T2R11991<br /><br />The part numbers both sides are T2R11991 (LH) and T2R11989 (RH). <edited><editID>Arne</editID><editDate>2016-11-18 18:40:40</editDate></edited>

Well at last it has arrived, and very happy with the choice of colour and options. Unfortunately I had to have a family member collect it from the show room as I am still away on a business trip. :-( At least I have something to look forward to on my return.

Regarding the remark about keeping Fire Sand clean - compared with my previous black car - its a walk in the park. Surprised how well the Orange hides the dirt unless you look closely.<div> </div><div>Car looks superb 'Firesand' :) That must be one expensive plate LOL :D</div>
