Ok, off to the dealers next week to lock down final spec etc

Thinking of financing the car but haven't done this in years.

Pondering a PCP or balloon HP type deal over 3yrs/10k pa, just wondering if anyone else has done this and what sort of rate and residuals you're being quoted. going to do my homework first as Jag themselves might not be the most cost effective way to go

I also would be very interested to know what offers are available. Trouble is, being a new model Jaguar probably won't be giving that much away. I telephoned my Dealer 3 times last week, without having any luck nor speaking with anybody, and on the 3rd time I complained about this, and the Dealer did ring back and left a message, that their straight APR repayment loan was 6.9%. My partner pointed out that we had already been offered better terms than this, but she was a little disbelieving.

My Dealer never invited me to the preview of the car, never offered me a test drive, and I believe my car has actually been built, I therefore don't have much faith in the Dealer.

ok, had a quote from Jag.

7.9% APR - not bad, but I know better is out there so will continue looking

What surprised me though was the residual, I use this as a personal indicator as to how much faith a co has in the car and it doesn't look good (especially in this day of manufacturer supported deals). but it's 17k less that a similarly priced 911 for example. I know there are all sorts of arguments about the capital left in the car at the end of the term, but would like to share more of that risk and invest my money in something I control.

Anyway, whilst not British to talk money, here are the figures...

Jag V6S - 3yrs/10k miles pa

Price £76,700
Deposit £10,000 (actually putting more in, but dealer decided to ignore that when sending me the quote)
36 months x £1373
Final £28,611

Total £88,052

Just completed my finance deal - decided to go for a PCP and use their money instead of mine. I went for the Jaguar Finance Package over 2 years with a large deposit at a rate of 5.9% APR.

Picking up my car on Friday!

Stunning Car Ryan. First pics I have seen of a white exterior and red interior. I have ordered the same spec but was a little nervous of my decision. Not anymore. Jealous of you picking it up tomorrow. Hope it is a sunny day for you. Post some more pics when you can.

Looks fantastic Red leather really goes well with white paintwork, nice choice

Went for the jag 5.9% over 3 yrs pretty good finance deal really.
have a good GFV also, so payments around £900 a month

I managed 5.9% with a 48 month deal, £28k deposit, £527 per month, final payment £22k, car due for delivery 08-09-2013, cannot wait !!!!

I'm so lucky!!

I got 4k off a new FType S without it I would have had to go with the base version.

Picking it up on a new 63 plate soon.

I want to send my thanks to the guys that made it possible, but I would not want them to get into any trouble.

It would seem that the 5.9% APR is available on all F-Types until the end of September 2013 from all main Jaguar dealers. Had a mail regarding the matter.

Happy ordering !

11 days remaining for me !!
