Finally a nice weekend to get the wash kit out.

A lovely day and some free time means she got a really good wash.

Been doing the same. 99% paint correction before PPF application next week. I've had a tonne of stone chips since I purchased it in July last year!

Nice! Mine has PPF on the front and sides and ceramic coating. Makes cleaning much easier which is nice. Nice work on the paint correction, looks fantastic.

Both cars are looking good!

Sad aren't we,as soon as the weather turns we are out working on them rather than driving!Mind you still find it satisfying detailing it myself although paint correction is a little beyond my skill set unfortunately.

Proper spoilt mine this weekend.

Annual service completed at Tom Lenthall yesterday and then a polish today.

Haha, yeah probably should have been out driving but she was proper filthy from a week of driving in the lashing rain.

Clocks change soon so there will be plenty of evening sunny drives coming up I’m sure. Yours is looking superb Lux

Looking good Lux! I think the next job on mine is polishing calipers and replacing the jaguar sticker on them. Mine seems to have gone completely!

As mine is my daily, I don't bother cleaning it unless there's a dry forecast for a few days. Whichever road I use round here, there is farmer's mud or builder's dust. Maybe next week after my run to Newcastle and back. Sometimes mine looks lovely and clean, the PPF makes it easy, wish I'd had the whole car done.

Yeah mine is a daily too so doesn't get washed as much as it should and that is also one of the reasons I went for PPF and ceramic coating too (as you say much easier to wash).

Mine had got to an almost embarrassing level of dirt though, so she needed it.

Looking good F-Type99 👍 First wash of year this weekend too, out of three month winter hibernation. Fast approaching its 10th birthday. Had it serviced, new battery & MOT. Treated to new side skirts & had side sills & lower side panels repainted.

Mine had it's annual wash as well. Although I don't bother doing it myself 😉

Looking great for 10 years!

Mine will be 1 in June. It's been a fantastic 9 months that's for sure.

Lovely those alloys are crackers! Mine has a proper wash with my detailer every 3 months or so. She'll also be getting a spruce before any big shows I go to (first one being Supercharged Saturday in May at Gaydon).

Roll on the summer days!

Looking good gents!
I opted for the drive instead! Some great roads to stretch her out a bit around Stow on the Wold, Burford, Bourton on the water and more. Some nice pubs too! 😊

Good to see people enjoying their cars - either cleaning or driving - I enjoy both.
Didn’t need to wash my car as it has been living under a car cover so I was greeted by already clean paintwork - went out for a drive and noticed a very binary mileage when I got home! Will need to do 10 extra miles for some symmetry.

I love driving as much as do cleaning my cars and the F-type is no exception despite being my daily. I find doing a rinseless wash safe, quick and easy. I clean the F-type at least twice a week so it's almost always presentable which, in my case, adds to the satisfaction I get from driving it. It's a virtuous cycle that my wife and neighbours don't understand. 😉

That would take it up to 18 miles ;)
