F-Type digital prints...garnering interest

My friend was showing me a print he's got from a website called petrolified.com...some of their work is here:<div><br /></div><div>http://www.petrolified.com/collections/originals#united-kingdom</div><div><br /></div><div>They're really high quality...basically a digital rendering of the car then printed out (professionally) onto quality card.</div><div><br /></div><div>I've been in touch with the guy behind the website as there's no F-Type on there, as I was wondering what it would take for him to make one.</div><div><br /></div><div>Due to the effort involved (25+ hours), you're looking at around 600 Euros, plus a little bit more for customisations once the basic profile is in place (different colours, black pack on some but not others, wheels, etc).<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Obviously a bit out of my pocket, although he'd be happy for several folks to go in it and split the cost amongst them...so I'm wondering if anyone has any serious interest in this?</div><div><br /></div><div>If so, reply here so I can get an idea of numbers, which in turn will influence the final price...</div><div><br /></div><div>I'll leave this running for a few days to give folks a chance to read it.</div><edited><editID>captainham</editID><editDate>2016-09-26 19:55:47</editDate></edited>
 
I'd certainly be interested in chipping in if there is enough interest to make a reasonable split! Seen this work before and wished there was an F-Type in the collection so let's make it happen! I think a white E-type print alongside a white F-Type (like mine :) ) framed on the wall would look fantastic!<div>Thanks captainham for the suggestion!</div>
 
That's not really my thing, I'm always open for hand drawn style pictures. I got given one free with my car but I'd like another one.

Would love to try and get more people on board for this!! Keeps coming back into my mind as something I'd love to have. Come on people - what do you say?
 
I think they look great, but i'm not feeling the itch to jump on this one.<br><br>Firstly...The F-Type comes in two body styles....Which one do we all pay for?...so that's 1200 Euro's then.<br><br>Secondly, What colour?......Are we going to have an arm wrestle to decide that one?...or??<br><br>Thirdly, Why the heck can't the guy do the work and then try to sell us the thing. The F-Type has surely got more interested buyers than a Saab 900, so why do we have to pay for the R&D in full ?<br><br>Bit harsh, I know, but i've got my business head on today.....so apologies up front. <br>
 
I agree, my nephew came up recently and took some nice pictures. I would rather frame one of them and have a picture of my actual car.<br />Steve.
 
My best mate is a professional photographer so he's kindly going to take some arty shots of my F-type and I'll get one of them framed or on canvas for the house. Not interested in paying for a print of a random F-type when I can have one of my own, sorry.
