F-Type 400 Coupe test drive

Not today, but on Tuesday we went for our annual pilgrimage to Sturgess for servicing etc.

As usual we were looked after well by everyone. It's a great dealership.

It turned out our service was a big one (5 hours!) but we were there to wait for the service to be done, so we were given a new F-Type 400 Coupe for a few hours to use.

Compared to mine the changes are subtle, but in essence the ICTP stuff and sat nav etc is much improved and they have worked hard to give the new performance seats a slim down, so there is more leg room which is nicer. I'm not sure about the new front bumper and plastics, but as a dark grey coupe it looked really good, especially with the pano roof. Its still a great car and you can see all the subtle changes they have made to refine the model further - impressive.

I'm not a fan of the yellow stitching and badges (but thats just my view), but anyone who buys one will get a cracking car - they do look fantastic and it got plenty of admirers (as all of these cars do).

I was looking at that at same demonstrator on Saturday while getting a service done. Strange how we have different opinions on the 'plastics' I have a pair of the sill extensions on order to retrofit to mine. Don't ask the price :(
