External door handle (does not close the car when pressed)

Hello everyone, tell me, such a problem, a jaguar f type 2013, the driver's door, the car stopped closing when you press the outside door handle. When the outer door handle is pulled out, with a slight pressure on it (if the key is nearby), the car should become armed, the doors close, the handle enters the door, but nothing happens, everything works fine on the passenger door, but does not work on the driver's door. From the key fob, too, everything closes well, it turns out that the keyless access of the driver's door has broken. I want to remove this handle and fix it, as I understand it, some internal button is broken, I want to replace it, tell me which button to replace and how to buy it correctly, does anyone have its article?

The key is in the hand, the key works.

1 - I press the handle
2 - The handle works and enters the door, but the car does not lock, it does not become armed.
3 - The handle itself climbs back.

Everything works fine on the passenger side.

Tell me, which button is responsible for arming when you press the knob 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5?

How to find out the marking of the button 1,2,3,4 in order to buy the same (or analogue) and replace it? Or do you need to disassemble and repair 5?

As I understand it, 1,2,3,4 there is a company microswitch 2-pin "BURGESS", but how to find out its exact model (article)?

Not sure about the others but the item you have circled as number 5 in your pic is the Actuator (Jaguar part number T2R7801).

Door handle (outer and inner) diagram, part numbers and prices are shown here....

I mean, my problem is that the car does not close when you press the handle (keyless entry), who knows, does the microswitches 1,2,3,4 not work or is it part number 5?

There are suspicions that one of the microswitches 1,2,3,4 broke (which I highlighted in red in the picture), so, I want to buy these microswitches, and then disassemble the door and change them on the handle, so I would like to know their marking so that order correctly, who can tell?

Yes, I was aware of your problem which is why I gave you the link to the door handle component diagrams and part numbers.

In the link, the microswitches you mention seem to come with the door handle (the wiring is there) and the actuator is bought separately (see screenshot). I’m unsure if you could source the microswitches separately somewhere else?

The question is that just one of the microswitches does not work, I want to fix the handle by replacing one of the microswitches, without buying a whole handle because of one microswitch. It may not be possible to find the original microswitch, but it may be possible to pick up some analogue

Yes I understand what you're saying......have a read through my last post again.

Good luck with your search.

A silly question. Have you tried changing battery in key fob.

I have had it where key fob would work inside the car but not recognised outside.

This is not a battery, because on the passenger side, pressing the handle (keyless entry) works well, but on the driver's side it does not work, the workshop diagnosed the problem, the microswitch in the handle does not work, the entire handle is replaced, but the question is, what can be fixed handle, because the problem is just a non-working microswitch, which is not difficult to replace, the main thing is to know which one, so that before removing the handle, order it, or its analogue, and then replace it

I believe I understand your ask, but this is unlikely to be anything that members on here can advise on from F Type knowledge, but perhaps if you're lucky and they have other electrical/electronics skills. These microswitches won't have any individual part numbers, but will be assembled by a third-party supplier using generic parts. If you are competent on changing such microswitches in a manufactured unit you should have the ability to test them and source a suitable replacement. That's what I have had to do in the past on components such as a remote key when I wanted to avoid buying a new key and paying for coding

Can I ask why you don't just get a part from a breakers/dismantlers if you want to avoid the cost of a new one?
