Hey all

As the title says i got that warning msg earlier.
The car had a 3 hour drive down to me on Friday just gone plus a 10 min quick spin an hour later that day but since then its Just sat on the driveway until I took it out this morning.
I drove to my daughters house which is 15 mins away to drop something off, got back in and got the error msg just a minute up the road.
TBF I stayed under 50 and the error msg cleared after about 5 minutes with full power restored.
I've read it just needs to burn off the soot deposits in the filter which is why you get reduced power and the warning.
Any one else had this?
Cheers as always 👍🏼
Its a V6 R Dynamic 2018 facelift,

Update
Took it out again this afternoon and it popped up with the same msg. I drove for about 15 minutes then a green filter pic popped up saying it had been successfully cleared, fantastic! Until it came back on 15 minutes later into the drive and the red triangle stayed on until I got home 20 mins later, even though I again stayed under 50 as instructed.
So its either a fubar exhaust filter or sensor.
The joys of owning a car eh 🤦🏼

I had exactly the same two years ago. Did all the driving under 50 for 15 minutes thing and still it came back. Took it in for service and was told it was the sensor. Hope that helps!

Cheers for the info Mark 👍🏼
I got on to the dealer as ive only had it 5 days 😀
He said to plug in a diagnostic reader and clear the codes which I've now done, I took it for a 30 min drive and so far so good 🤞🏻
He said if it comes back on again it will probably be a sensor as ppf's don't usually fail, its the dpf's in diesels that are the issue.
Time will tell 🙈😀
