Worked it out

Looks amazing! Just need some black badges now :D

Yes found the parts but what i havent worked out if the silver badges are stuck on or clip into holes.

All badges stuck on but locating holes behind leaper. I did mine earlier this year and put some pictures up on the forum

Thanks does the Leeper just pop out or do I have to get it from the underneath and push it out?

All done from outside. Heat the badges up gently with a hair dryer then use dental floss to get behind the badge and gently pull it away. The leaper is the hardest. Use a bit of surgical spirit or similar to clean any residue away and the new badge aligns easily.

@GusA
I bought some black leapers to put on the chrome rails I put under the doors of my F-Pace.
Does the 3M tape stick enough to keep it in place or do rotating brushes of the carwash rip it off, you expect ?

A little bit off thread now (sorry) but the leaper I took off was quite difficult (broke several pieces of floss) and I think it would be ok through a car wash - although I never use them. The only danger would be if one of the brushes gets behind the end of the leaper which might then break off, if that’s the type of car wash you use?

Hi GusA,

Yep, rotating brushes.

So the thing is to 'full contact' glue the leaper and let the tape exactly follow the shape of the leaper.. 8-)

Gents,
Several times I've mentioned that this isn't a thread for general discussion, more of a type of gallery in the spirit of the initial post.
Please keep on topic or start a new individual topic in the gallery where you can chat about the cars as much as you like.
Thanks.
