Why haven't your mirrors folded? Do you have the option to disable the autofold on lock?

AFAIK dealers can configure the mirrors to fold in on lock, or to stay out. On my previous XKR it was user-selectable so I could disable it during winter when they had a tendency to freeze folded and were a pain to unfold. Maybe yours has been dealer disabled?

Promised a couple of pics of the new F-Type that we took delivery of in March, just a few days before lockdown







Opted for the debadging, which tidies up the rear nicely plus I've never been a fan of all the badges that shout about what the car is.

It's an enormous privilege to own the car and looking to keep it for a long time. The smile it produces just walking up to it is worth every penny of what it cost.

Finally had my new wheels fitted. 21” Vorsteiner V-FF103’s. Custom painted Gloss Black...







Was bit shocked at first. Loved my 20” OEM Silver Cyclones but thought if I’m spending on new wheels, they should be different. Might go to OEM Silver at next tyre change?

Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. 255/30/21 on 9” Front & 295/25/21 on 10.5” Rear. They sit nice & flat on the rim, didn’t want to squeeze fatter ones on.

No requirement for spacers so they’ve been removed & lost 46KG in weight. Car feels so different now
