Engine whirl for 5 minutes after cold start

Hi moss, thanks for the reply. The you tube cabin clip is where I hear it most, which is recorded from the cabin of my car… it’s defo a P450 👀. The noise you hear in this clip subsides after a while. And it’s quiet. It just doesn’t sound great. I promise you it’s louder than the camera picks up.

The car has been inspected and components replaced so hopefully all is good. (Fingers and toes crossed)

Hi Adria,

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I’ve been having exactly the same issue right down to everything you’ve said. I’ve not had any Jag intervention yet and wondered have you got to the bottom of this and it’s gone away or do you still have the noise. Glad I’m not the only one, beginning to wonder if this is the way the cars are? Thanks!
