Driver side heater only blows cold

The driver side vents are only blowing cold air no matter what the dial is set at. Passenger side works perfectly fine, heating and changing temp as the dial indicates. All other climate control features (heated seats, steering wheel, changing vents, pass temp, etc) work perfectly.

This began immediately after installing a driver side seat controller in the door (my car previously had the passenger control switch on the diver side for whatever reason). The only other thing I did at the same time was top off my coolant from a half centimeter below the low line. I didn't disconnect the battery when doing the install, but I have since disconnected it for around 20 minutes to try and see if that would reset anything (no luck).

Other info that may/may not be useful:
I had been chasing a coolant leak, but that got fixed around a month before the driver side heater went out, and I drive the car just over 400 miles/week, so it's had plenty of time to work any coolant issues through (imo). Nothing else on the car has been effected since this happened.
Another thought was to check fuses but I couldn't find one in the manual that went specifically to control the driver side heater.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As a suggestion have you tried swapping the driver's side control switch back to the original one? If it still doesn't work after that the fault lies elsewhere.

I did try that and unfortunately no luck. I've heard rumors it may have something to do with a switch on the back of the climate control system going out, but I don't want to chuck money at replacing parts without being able to narrow it down further.

Update:
Tried flushing the heater core and still no luck. It does seem like the blend door is moving, but still not sure what the problem may be.
