Out for a drive this morning and thought I heard a very subtle chatter, I was concerned it was timing chain so pulled the bonnet and definitely can’t hear any that I can tell.
Of course now I’m doing overtime and listening to every tiny sound, so I thought I’d grab a quick record for the trained ears here.
A few gentle low revs and it does sound tappety but I don’t think this is anything out of the ordinary? No smoke, no clunks, no loss of power etc. I’m sure I’m being paranoid.
