Dodgy service intervals

Hi all,

Was very close to becoming an owner and have just spotted a potential red flag, all the services are late.

The first was completed 22 months after registration at 10k miles (confirmed by dealership), and then the 24 month check was completed after 36 months registration. The services after this are 36/48 month checks but are technically both a year late - is this a deal breaker?

Car was registered 08/2019.

The last service was a minor/prep service so you'd need to get the next full service done this July to bring the service schedule back on track - a cost to factor in.

The delayed first service wouldn't bother me if a main dealer could show me evidence it was completed after 10k miles. But I'd want them to update the service record to document that.

Just answered your earlier post, just a point here though if dealer says done at 10k miles in 06/21 why is it not entered into the history? Have them show you the job-sheet and they put it into the history. This can be done thro Jaguar as long as there is evidence of the activity.

I wouldn't be too worried about any indiscrepancies in 2020 (they were strange days indeed), which still effected early 2021.
If the dealer can provide evidence the first service was carried out around 10,000 I'd be happy with that.
More importantly,
If awd you'll need them to confirm the rear diff and transfer box have had their oil replaced, third and fourth services I believe.
