Disable seatbelt warning

The f type seatbelt audible warning is annoying. You can't even move at 1mph without it going off.
Here's how to disable it.
Get in car, put on seatbelt
Start engine
Unplug then replug your seatbelt about 10 times
A beep/ tone will sound
Done - no more audible seatbelt warning.
I think that repeating this procedure will reactivate it.
This worked in my 2018 v6.

I’ve never struggled to manoeuvre with my seatbelt on other than trying to get out of a vehicle and getting tangled up in it because you’re trying to get out quicker than the belt retracts…

You should be able to reverse your vehicle using your door mirrors so you can also keep an eye on what’s happening in front of you. Part of the UK driving test was showing all round observation whilst manoeuvring

Not something that feels sensible to me. The only time wearing the seatbelt is not mandated is whilst reversing.
Perhaps back in the 70's or earlier with fixed seatbelts it made sense to remove it.

Disabling the beep seems stupid as it will fail MOT's for a warning light, not alert passengers who can be pretty lax and it's perfectly possible to see anywhere around the vehicle in a retractable seatbelt, albeit so limited anyway rearwards compared to cameras and mirrors.

Alright.
I'll rephrase.
If anyone 's seatbelt doesn't have an audible warning, it may be that it has been disabled.
See above procedure to reactivate.

Interesting! I've never ever been annoyed by the audible warning so not an issue to me.

Didn't know Jags had this feature. Apparently another Land Rover feature carried over to the F-Type, just like the 45 mph kerb hit tolerance for the rims and suspension. :) When Harry Metcalfe and Jeremy Clarkson raved about how the old L322 generation was the best Range Rover generation in one of Harry's videos, this feature was one of the reasons to why they loved their old cars. Apparently it was removed in the MY13-21 L405 generation and was dearly missed by gentlemen like them who often jump in and out of the cars while manouvering out on their farmlands.

Instead of all that faffing about with clipping in and out 10 times, if you really don't want the seatbelt on while doing slow speed manoeuvers, get one of those 'blank' seatbelt clips that farmers use.
