Dead pedal position

Hi
Wondered whether anyone had the dead pedal accessory fitted and if so could anyone post a picture of the exact position it should be placed?
I've got one and the dealership are going to fit for me later this week. Before they do I want to make sure it is positioned correctly as it involves three holes been drilled.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry but it looks like it fell off, it should cover the whole area.

It’s not large enough to do that.
It has to sit at the bottom otherwise your foot would be in the air to rest on it.
Was fitted by the dealer, works perfectly.

Hi
Thanks for the photo and the comments.
Most cars (that I've owned) have a plastic dead pedal or left foot rest.
I was surprised the f type didn't have anything there but just carpet. Therefore, I wanted to get one as I thought it would save the carpet wearing through plus it matches the other chrome pedals and IMHO looks good too.

Had the dead pedal "accessory" fitted along with a wheel refurbishment over the last couple of days at the dealership.
Really pleased with the pedal and by the level of service received at the dealership in general!
Hope the pedal looks in the correct position!

Agreed - fitted mine and it’s a few cm higher so my foot rests centrally when pivoted to the left
There is no fixed position though as it’s just drill holes in the carpet
