Cuckoo in the nest

Not quite a F Type owner, however, my daughter lives in Dubai and has just bought a V6 convertible.<div><br></div><div>She has deliberated for 18 months, looking at Maserati, Porsche and Mercedes... but kept going back to the Jaguar. She initially looked at the coupe but fell in love with with the convertible. She knows that it is not the most sensible choice, but she is only 25 and wanted some fun.</div><div><br></div><div>So whilst I have been over there she took the plunge, after advice and guidance from good old dad. But, it was her choice and I am so impressed with her judgement.</div><div><br></div><div>I have found this type of Forum to be a wealth of knowledge and I know that I will receive requests from her about all aspects of the car.</div><div><br></div><div>So perhaps not a cuckoo, more an adoptive parent member.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyway.... here are a few snaps.</div><div><br></div><div>http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/i351/KevanWeetman/IMG_5476_zpsyzjswtrl.jpg<img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/uploads/1050/IMG_5476.JPG" height="525" width="700" border="0" /></div><div><br></div>

Welcome to the FTOC Kev!<div> </div><div>Your daughter HAS made a sensible choice and a wiser choice over a Porker <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /></div><div> </div><div>Introduce her to the forums...there at least two other ladies that frequent these parts to my knowledge.</div>

<div><br></div><div>I am back in the UK, so today I took my Porker out, two totally differing drives, love them both. She so wanted a Porsche, but wanted the Jag even more.... plenty of time yet.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

I think that choosing the Jag over the other brands shows a strong sense of character.....moving away from the stereotypical/logical brands.<br><br>Good for her! I hope she enjoys the car. I could imagine that white will suit the climate well.<br>

Nothing wrong in being a proud Dad <img src="http://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/images/converted_files/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" />
