I recently posted about a coolant leak on my car which was coming from the front left (UK nearside) of the engine below the left air intake tube then running down and off the engine undertray https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=88617#p88617
After further investigation the highest point that I could see it leaking was the thermostat. I could also see it coming from the intercooler hose but due to its location couldn’t tell if it was actually leaking, running down from above or both? I removed the left air intake tube to get a better look below it then decided to book the car into my preferred local independent garage to have the job done. They diagnosed the leak was only coming from the thermostat and replaced it with a new JLR one (part number AJ814048).
