Hi all

I've just purchased my second F-Type (previously having a stratus grey in 2015 (MY 2013) until 2018.

I wondered if someone could check the vehicle history as it has had a respray which I didn't pick up on at first.

It just makes me wonder why its needed a respray as it only has 19k miles, the interior is immaculate but I just feel disappointed with the reason for a respray.

The reg is GX14 YZZ but was on a private plate RU55 WON.

The Jaguar service history is strong until 2020 and has just been serviced at Jaguar.

Car 11163 from 1st March 2014 in Salsa Red and used in Crawley area until 2020.

The private plate was used on several different vehicles which complicates things when searching but I cannot find anything other some pictures on social media from 2016 such as below.

What part was resprayed?

The whole car looks to have had a respray as there’s a lot of orange peel - it’s not obvious until looking at reflections in the light but begs the question why it needed a respray.

Do a car vertical check if that shows nothing take it to a body shop let them do a report and go back to the dealer and ask for your money back for not disclosing
