Changing front grill growler badge from red to black?

HI, i want to change the red inside bit of the growler badge from red to black, i see chrome and black ones online varying from 50 to 85 quid but has anyone removed their badge, seperated it and painted it black then put it back on? Or is it more hassle than its worth and should i just buy a black and chrome one? My wheel center caps are black and chrome so i wanted to match them up.

Thanks for the responses fellas. I think i will buy that one darren posted. I just prefer the look of the growler face on the red one as if you look its different, its got a meaner expression LOL. Cheers.

Is it this just a case of popping it off with a pry tool or do i have to remove the grill to get it off?
