Car Vertical check anomalies

Hi All. I've never used Car Vertical before but ran a check on a car i'm thinking of purchasing and am wondering if it's just me, or something doesn't look right (it could well be me not reading the data correctly). The mileage shows as being 4,086 in 2020-01 but then 3,876 in 2020-07. Then again it looks odd in 2022 mileage was 18,476 2022-05, then lower at 18,410 on 2022-12. Is this a report oddity as surely if you were of a mind to 'clock' your car you wouldn't do it for less than 100 miles? Also, under currently wanted as stolen it shows no record found, under stolen in the past it shows as no record found, but below that 'current status unknown', and then under stolen in the past it also shows no record found and below that 'vehicle has been recovered'. Is anyone able to decipher this for me please, as to whether this means it was previously stolen and recovered, or just an odd way of showing the data (to me at least). I think you might now be finding out why it has been for sale 204 days and no one has purchased it.
 
It looks odd. If you look at MOT history it's
2021- 14232
2022- 18477
2023- 29,543

I'm not sure where car vertical gets its info from.
 
Thanks for the responses. Likewise I’m not sure how Car Vertical can tag mileages in between services and mots, but going on mot history it looks legit. It would have taken two different owners to have both decided to clock the car for the sake of a few miles which seems somewhat unlikely. Thanks all
