Can't update maps

So I'm trying to get my new ftype up to date, and the system in the car says map updates are available and only offline nav is available until i update.
I'm signed in to my incontrol route thing in maps, in the car.

It says to go to https://jaguar.here.com/ to download the maps, i sign in and it says i have no vehicles, so i add my VIN and i get a message saying:

You have a connected vehicle
To make the most of your Jaguar, sign into your InControl Touch Pro navigation system using your InControl Touch Pro Navigation Account user name and password while you have an active data connection. The next time you log into the InControl Touch Pro Route Planner and navigate to Maps & Services, you will be redirected to the available products for your vehicle.

So I'm stuck? I am signed in and have an active data connection!

Anyone got any ideas?

So for anyone else coming here, it worked the next day.
Guessing there's some sort of lag on JLR's crappy systems which means the ownership data updates overnight!

On an iMac downloads continually fail. I use a Surface Pro and it downloads the updates flawlessly.

Downloads work fine on my iMac so long as I format the USB stick prior to downloading.
I use a 64GB Sandisk Ultra USB3.0
I remember I did have to wait for the JLR backend to sync overnight when I first registered InControl but it’s been ok since.

Let me check that out so, thanks!

Just in case you're not sure (or for others).

On iMac: Launchpad > Other > Disk Utility
From the Disk Utility screen, make sure you have selected the USB drive. Then select 'Erase'.

After this, you should be good to download a new map without issue.
