Can anyone recommend a West Yorkshire or East Lancs/Manchester independent?

Hi all,

Happy New Year!

My nearly 6-year-old V6 340 will need an MOT and service next month just before the 12-month Approved Warranty expires. Can anyone recommend an independent specialist around Manchester or Huddersfield? I live half way between the two and would be happy to drive an hour or so.

Also any thoughts on whether an indy is appropriate at this stage given the fact that the car still has Jaguar warranty?

I've had mine serviced at my trusted independent since I got the car so have been through 3 years of warranty (2 factory and one renewal) and had warranty work done at main dealers without any questions asked. AIUI, so long as the servicing garage is VAT registered you can use anyone without compromising the warranty. My Independent is on the south coast, though, so not much use to you.

And of course you'd be happy to drive an hour or so - it's a Jaaaag!
 
Yes they were ok , I dont think its the cheapest place to go,, i paid £680 for a basic service and they removed a broken wheel nut as well . You do get a lovely receipt with a picture of a jag :)
