Following on from 13th April thread this date has now been moved to Saturday 20th April due to Phil’s request at C&M as they have another meet on 13th.

This is a great place for petrol heads to meet and is a good venue for food and drink,

As I mentioned in the previous thread, I visited midweek for a meet with them and there were already Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s and Porsche’s there so it’s high time they had some FTypes,

However parking is not guaranteed and can be limited and as this is Easter weekend it’s bound to be busy here so they have kindly agreed to let us in at 9.00 am before they open at 9.30

As some already know they’ve had issues with neighbours and police complaining about noise and on road parking so we must respect that please,

They’re also building a new car park to address the parking issues, (unfortunately this won’t be ready for 20th April) so it should get better,

Everyone welcome but we need to let them know numbers ASAP please so would you kindly show your interest as soon as possible so I can let them know,

They have extended the carpark, me and Darren (daddy Darren) met up there last saturday morning, i got there at half nine and there was plenty of parking, also there was a big porsche meet there but still room till about ten.
 
That’s good news Timbo thanks for the heads up, they were still laying gravel on it when I was there and I agree it should get better now there’s more room.
 
Hi all, just a quick note, C&M are now charging £5 for car park entry on the door or you can pre book a ticket which guarantees entrance online (think that’s £10)
 
Thanks David, yes I just had a quick look and you’re correct, I guess they want to recoup the car park extension costs, can’t blame them...

So do we pre book or shall we just rock up?

My guess is it shouldn’t be rammed by 9.00 am...

What’s your thoughts please guys...?

Will be coming from Kidderminster is it a case of just turn up and park anywhere or do you guys all park together.

I'll likely be there for 9ish too as am probably going to be in Sutton Coldfield that w/e, so only 1 hour away.

Any idea how many are going?

Quick update guys,

I spoke to Claire at C&M today and she’s confirmed they’re still expecting us, please see her confirmation email below and at the moment we have the following going
dbv6s, FTypeharv, basher, Dazza67, Daddy Darren, Lewis4698 and myself, apologies if I’ve missed anyone and if any one else wishes to join us you’re most welcome and please let us know, should be a good meet,

Hey Steve,

It was great to talk to you just a few moments ago.

I am emailing back just to confirm that I have 7 to 10 F-Types visiting C&M from the club on Saturday 20 April arriving at 9am. All being well, we will aim to park you all near the front of the C&M building, however I cannot guarantee this. Your early arrival will help though.

As discussed, a £5 car parking fee per vehicle is payable upon arrival and parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. In exchange, each driver will be given an item of C&M merchandise upon arrival, which can either be kept or exchanged for a non-alcoholic drink on the day.

I very much look forward to meeting you all on the 20th and shall certainly enjoy seeing your lovely cars.
