Button inside centre armrest

Hi James, that is aftermarket, not a Jaguar item. Perhaps contact the previous owner if you can?

Maybe a kind of interlock, does it stop the car from starting? Does it stop the OBD port from being used?
 
Press it and see? It may have been to turn the accessory plug on/off if there was something left plugged in rather than unplugging/plugging in each journey

And then report back with what it does or doesn't do!
 
It doesn’t do anything. I have pressed.

The previous owner doesn’t know either so must’ve been the original owner.
Having some battery issues and wondered if that was a standard button as i didn’t remember a button being there on my previous F-Type. Wondered if it was maybe draining the battery when the car is off.

But looks like it’s a customised thing.
