Brake callipers

Hi,

Just purchased a 2016 v6s awd from an independent, just noticed when I got home that I have red front callipers and black rear callipers,

Having read the through the forums, I’m sure that was not an option??
Replacement rear black callipers maybe??
 
AFAIK, red calipers are fitted as standard as part of the high performance brakes... i.e. 380mm front disks and 376mm rears.

What disks do you have?

It could be that the calipers have been painted?

But why different colours. Hmmm. 🤔
 
They are 380mm fronts, and 326 rears which I think is the correct size for the 3.0s, just a bit weird that the rears are black and the fronts red,
 
Just paint them , mine were faded red I done them bright yellow and put new "S" logos on them , seem to pop out better
 
The original red jaguar ones don't really stand out that much but what ever you go for use the same brand of clear lacquer (if you decide to put on new decals , give 2 coats of lacquer over to seal . ) to avoid a reaction and sand or wire brush prior to painting as well as caliper cleaner , easy job
