Bought a car I thought I would never own.

Hi Guys.

Thought I would finally introduce myself after picking up my dream car in July last year.

I have always been a massive rally fan (being from Wales) so I have owned a number of Subaru Impreza's. Current one being an Impreza STi WR1. Although have always loved the F-Type since seeing and sitting in one at Goodwood in 2014 I believe.

I have the coupe V6s in white with the black panoramic roof, covering 27 000 miles.

Without trying to put a downer on things, me and my wife have both had some bad news over the last year or 2. So this is a little present to ourselves. :)

The pop and crackles it makes certainly puts a smile on our faces :D

Ours cars are very similar, although mine came as base model. You have great taste & imho have hit the sweet spot in colour, shape & model 😀

Wasted on me as I couldn’t afford to maintain/improve it. Wanted one for my 50th but wife wouldn’t get in a car with harnesses so the F-Type just won out…

Owned mine for seven flawless years. Such a magical car, every journey is an absolute pleasure. Ignore the doomsters & enjoy all the positive attention your F-Type will receive.

If your cup of tea there are regular gatherings for F-Type & Jaguar enthusiasts. Take a look at the Jaguar Breakfast Club for example 👍

Love the escort, wish I could afford one. Had a rally day experience for my 40th last year and absolutely loved it.

You car looks awesome, love the wheels and brake callipers too, really sets the car off. I have a nearly new set of black wheels that was part of the sale, which I might fit. May do a poll on here.

Welcome and what a lovely car! Great to see we share the same Centrifuge wheels. They definitely grew on me (I've only had the car for just over a month) and are easier to clean than I had expected.

Lovely car. Especially like the wheels. I have had mine for over 4 years. Wonderful machines.
Every trip feels like an occasion. Enjoy it.
 
Those wheels really do suit your car.I am sure you will continue to enjoy owning such a great looking vehicle and keep pinching yourself when you are admiring it's looks!
Never drove a STI unfortunately which I am sure is a great drive.Had a couple of Subaru's in the past which handled like a roller skate.The WRXs was really heavy on fuel but mechanically was really sound and its depreciation was tortoise like 20210327_113955.jpg
 
What do you Subaru fans think of the P25 Prodrive? I know it’s half a mil but what a machine 👍
