Boot lights

Afternoon everyone,

I hope your all enjoying the day with your car(s)
I hope you can help, when do your boot lights come on I have MY P450 the to tailgate lights seem to come on with car lights the other two (either side of the boot) don’t seem to come on, I would have assumed these come on when the tailgate is open car lights on or not but you know what they say about assuming :lol:

Does anyone know fuse location for the boot lights, I should fuse check just in case

I have just looked. Mine are on when the hatch opens I cannot see a switch anywhere so, it could be in the lock mechanism somewhere.
The other 2 lights, that come on with the exterior lights are for the rear number plate.
Do your interior cabin lights come on when you open the doors, I wonder if they are somehow linked.

Ah off course they are the number plate lights good point :lol: I hadn’t thought,
I will check interior lights tomorrow to see if they are linked
