Bonnet Vents

I've just replaced my chrome ones to glass black and noticed they are not very vented for vents lol

I'm unable to see how there let any heat out, I guess thats normal ?

I have the side vents to replace soon too, guess they are the same.

Are these items for show ?

Hi mbes2,

I've replaced both sets to gloss black myself, if you're coming out to play on Sunday I'll happily talk you through the process of changing the wing vents as they are no where near as simple as the bonnet vents.

The bonnet vents on mine in gloss are very well vented. You can see the 'Supercharger' logos through them. I'm sure they are show only in reality and not key to engine cooling
Side vents are blanked and fitted into a blind pocket in the wing moulding

Good luck changing them - it's not easy...
