Bonnet vents / Power vents

Hi,<div> </div><div>I'm hoping someone can offer some guidance please.</div><div> </div><div>I'm now in possession of the gloss black vents for the bonnet and sides and wish to get these installed as part of my semi-black pack upgrade</div><div> </div><div>Both have a number of what look like push fit expanding clips. They also both appear to be of a material that on first inspection has a horribly fragile look about them, so clearly I don't want to go steaming in and start breaking things ...</div><div> </div><div>If anyone has swapped these items, and/or can point me to any instructions to remove the old and install the new I would be very grateful ...</div><div> </div><div>Thanx, Paul</div>

I've done it and found it a much easier task than I had imagined before lifting the bonnet.<br><br>Just gently apply a little pressure in the direction of removal and go around the clips with your fingers and flex them inwards a little (but not too far...be gentle). What I found was that the vent frees off slightly a one end or side. At that point just work you way round on the clips easing as you go.<br><br>Don't force it and don't try to pull/push it at an angle....gently and evenly bit by bit till all the clips have gone past the edge of the metal. <br>
