Black vs Chrome

Prefer chrome wheels to tie in with exhaust...

Black wheels on bright cars look like just black holes from a distance. Silver looks great when wheels are turning, imho, of course 😁

Totally agree. Black wheels are over.
They’re like wearing socks with sandals !
 
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that thinks that :)

There's a Mini at work that's primer grey with gloss black wheels. It looks like it's not finished yet!

Socks should be worn with sandals - feet are a very unsatisfactory end to legs and should be kept covered at all times. :roll:
 
I agree with earlier comments that black wheels on bright cars look like holes from a distance.

Silver wheels and chrome trim for me.

Also not a fan of black wheels, although the ones with a diamond cut rim look ok. As for chrome, to me the lighter coloured cars look best, and more modern, with the exterior black pack and the darker colours look best with chrome. Just my personal opinion obviously!

Having said that, I haven’t seen a bad looking F Type yet!
 
Pretty happy with black on silver, having said that I never thought I would buy another silver car until I saw this in the flesh 😀

I have to agree Cats
Not normally a fan of Silver cars but yours is an exceptionally nice silver car in the flesh.
Good drive from Beaconsfield to C&M last month👍

There isn't an unattractive F Type

I find myself with a split personalty when I comes to Chrome v Black

Lol.....Your forged blade, carbon fibre and satin dark grey, diamond turned finish wheels go well with the car IMO
