Best areas for PPF (a stone chipping question)

Just debating what parts to PPF. My thinking is down the sides below the door and sill extensions along with the front bumper. Most cars I've had have suffered the most in these areas, Yes I've had the odd stone chip on the bonnet in the past but is it worth doing? What do long term owners think the most susceptible area to stone chipping is on the F Type?

Bonnet in my opinion plus areas you mentioned. I even got 2 tiny stone chips on the inside of drivers side wheel spoke.

I’ve just DIYed my own PPF after having new side sill extensions fitted. At same time the side sills were removed/painted & both front lower wings too…

Took about three hours. Home made slip solution, craft blade & use of wife’s hairdryer. I hand cut, to approx 5/10mm, the edges of the PPF once fitted. Made for an easier job than trying to tuck around edges. The OEM PPF was removed & again the whole of that area PPF’d.

Pre-cut list available on eBay. I used Aliath.

Personally, I’ve had car seven years, & never dinked bonnet but I do keep away from vehicles in front, most of time.

That looks shite. Couldn't you get it in white?

I did exactly the areas you're considering - full front bumper including the nose (ie everything south of the bonnet line) and sills up to the lower rear arches.

If money was no object I'd have probably done the bonnet too. But the nose and area where the sills meet the wide rear arches seem particularly vulnerable so they were my priority.

I covered my door sills. Not to protect against stone chips but shoe scuffs. My sills still look like new.

I've had my front end, bonnet, sills and in front of the rear wheels PPF'd. It's so much easier to clean than paint, next time I'll get the whole car done if I can.
