Battery Charging

A couple of others on here asking for help with later cars fitting instructions. My 17 plate boot is also not like the pictures or guide shown previously...
Any advice please for fitting?

Mine looks the same as yours, same bus bars but just in a different location.

Undo the bolts holding the black box with yellow connectors off then fold it forward, then remove the bracket behind. Behind that is the bus bar box with a few spare connections to connect the +ve cable to. I can take more photos if you need.

the best way to charge the battery is to enjoy long drives

I connect my CTEK to the charging positions at the front of the car.
I "permanently" installed the CTEK wires to the large flat positive charging blade and an engine stud.
When I connect the CTEK I channel the wire down to the RHS wheel well and close the hood (bonnet!!).
The CTEK remains outside the vehicle completely so that you see the state of charge.
This is really for the Winter season when the car will get less use.
During the Summer it will get driven a lot with the hood down!!
