I'm wanting to replace the gear shift lever as the one on the car is a bit scratched from the previous owner.
It's surprising really, because the rest of the interior is mint, so I can only guess that he/she had loads of rings and other dangly bits and pieces hanging from his/her hand!
Anyway, I think the first step is to remove the gloss black panel immediately below the lever.
Does this just prise out upwards?
I've already snapped the end off one of my plastic trim removal tools, so I'm not sure it does?
It seems very tight and there's no gap to force anything into between it and the plastic panel beneath it.
