Audibe Ticking noise on turnover (new member)

Only had my F type for a month, I have notice only recently quite an audible ticking noise on turnover.

Its not the noise on start up. this is present after the engine gas warmed up

It sounds like normal injector noise to me, which is enhanced when the mic gets closer to it.

I'd imagine you won't hear it from the driver's seat with the bonnet shut?

If it's loudest at the front right of the engine it's almost definitely the fuel pump. They're on a cam lobe and are a little noisy. Sounds no different to mine.

Hi, thanks for responding.

YorkshireSam no I cant hear it from inside the cabin to be fair.

paddy1000111, yes it does come from the right hand side of the engine (as I am facing the front of the car). Its going into Jag in a week or so to get the exhaust solenoid done so I will ask the to check it anyway.

I’ve got a 380 V6 and only had it 3 months I had an injector go and it was replaced when I picked the car up it sounded no different from the noise you have I asked the mechanic and he said the noise is normal.
