Hi All
After not using the car much this year I decided to drive to Sardinia via Toulon and a ferry to Porto Torres, I did not fancy seating in a plane for just over two hours with the current situation/

Just over 7000 miles with a night stop over in France, a nice dinner in Troyes, breakfast and on the road again, got to Toulon for the ferry fat 8pm for an over night crossing.

The car drove like a dream!! :D :D :D the roads are very quiet in France and Sardinia for this time of year due the current situation.

Looking forward to the journey back!!!

Best to all.

That's the way to travel, not stuck in a steel tube with a bunch of plebs ....

Nice drive - it’s certainly a car you can spend the day in.

...do wonder where you set out from if it was 7,000 miles though

It's amusing how many mistakes you can make after few glasses of wine!! it was just over 700 from home to Toulon.

Hi,
I just got back from a 2200 miles round trip, the return journey via northern Italy, Switzerland, and then from Saarbrücken in Germany no stop to the channel tunnel to avoid France and the quarantine.

The car drove perfect!!

Only disappointment during the trip, I did not see a single F type on the road!!!
I am beginning to think that F types in the rest of Europe are rearer than hen's teeth.

Faith was restored though as soon as I left the Chunnel on the M20 I saw a black one driving in the opposite direction, what a sight.
